About Us

A2 Accident Solicitors are experienced and specialist compensation Solicitors who, with a dedicated team of experienced litigation executives offer an honest and frank assessment of the merits of a claim. We are friendly, approachable and make sure you receive the very best representation and maximum payment for your accident.

Both Paul Ackroyd and Chris Bracey are qualified solicitors with collectively over 35 years experience in dealing with Claimant accident related personal injury claims. In addition they are both accredited Senior Litigators with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

A2 Accident Solicitors was set up in June 2003 to offer a quality, personal service to victims of accidents, something which we believe has been overlooked in recent years by many of the large Firms. Our clients interest’s and needs drive us in everything we do.

To achieve these beliefs we ensure each personal injury claim is supervised closely by one of the Partners until its conclusion. You are provided with a direct telephone number for the fee earner and direct e mail access. In addition we use Proclaim the case management system from Eclipse. We welcome the use of e-mail which we believe reduces delay and promotes a personal relationship with clients who use the facility.

A2 Accident Solicitors act for Helphire PLC clients and other credit hire companies, and have done so for many years. We have detailed knowledge of credit repair and hire agreements and the technical arguments relating to them.

The Practice is accredited by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL), we are also members of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS), The Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel and the Law Society. Paul has previously sat on the Manchester Law Society Council and its Civil Litigation committee and is also a past Conciliation officer dealing with complaints for the Manchester Law Society.

This firm is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but we are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because we are members of the Law Society. We can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services we have been engaged to provide. Although the Law Society is a designated professional body for the purposes of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, responsibility for regulation and complaints handling has been separated from the Law Society's representative functions. The Solicitors Regulation Authority is the independent regulatory body of the Law Society and the Legal Complaints Service is the independent complaints handling body of the Law Society.
